TO HOLD AUDITIONS FOR ITS

SUMMER PRODUCTION OF HAIR

DATE/TIME/PLACE: Monday, January 30, 2012 from 6:30-10:30pm at MusicalFare Theatre.

HOW:  EMAIL musicalfareauditions@hotmail.com for an appointment.  PLEASE NOTE that because of high demand for audition slots, all slots will be double-booked.

MusicalFare Theatre will be holding auditions on Monday, January 30, 2012 beginning at 6:30pm for its summer production of HAIR.  Callbacks will be held the nights of February 5th and 6th.  The production director is Chris Kelly; choreographer is Bobby Cooke.

Auditioners must be at least 16 years of age.

Please bring a resume and headshot if you have them.

Please bring sheet music, which includes piano accompaniment, for one song of the rock genre.  It may be up-tempo or ballad.  It does not have to be a song from the show.  An accompanist will be provided.  Due to time constraints, you may be asked to sing only 16 bars of ONE song.

An audition appointment IS necessary.  To make an appt, you MUST email your name, phone number and the approximate time you would like to audition to: musicalfareauditions@hotmail.com .  We will write back confirming your appt and giving you the closest time available to the time which you requested.

MusicalFare Theatre is a professional musical theatre company in residence at, but independently operated from, Daemen College.  MusicalFare Theatre is located at 4380 Main Street in Amherst, NY (between Harlem and Getzville Roads).  Parking is FREE, and the theatre is handicapped accessible, complete with a hearing-impaired system.
