MusicalFare Theatre presents a fundraiser Bus Excursion to The Shaw Festival/Niagara-on-the-Lake to see ONE TOUCH OF VENUS with music by Kurt Weill on Friday, July 23, 2010.

The ancient goddess of love visits Manhattan in this musical fantasy.  A modern art collector brings a statue of Venus to town.  Through the magic of a ring, Venus comes to life, falls for a barber named "Hatch" and chases him all over New York.  But will this wild woman allow herself to be tamed?  A comic caper from the pen of Marx Brothers' writer S.J. Perlman and New Yorker  poet Ogden Nash, with classic songs like "Speak Low" and "I'm A Stranger Here Myself."

8:15am   Arrive for boarding at MusicalFare Theatre on Daemen Campus
8:30am   Depart for Niagara-on-the-Lake
9:30am   Arrive in the village and spend time shopping
11:45am Lunch at the Pillar and Post Restaurant
2:00pm   ONE TOUCH OF VENUS at Royal George Theatre
4:30pm   Board motorcoach to return home
5:30pm   Arrive at MusicalFare Theatre parking lot

Please note: To cross the US/Canada Border, you must have either a VALID PASSPORT or a NYS ENHANCED DRIVER'S LICENSE.  Please be ready!  This is your responsibility.  There are NO exceptions to this requirement as it is now THE LAW.  If you cannot fulfill this requirement then you are unable to go on this bus trip.

Cost: $120 per person.  Price includes theatre ticket, lunch, deluxe motorcoach transportation, and all tips/gratuities. A portion of the ticket price supports MusicalFare Theatre.
