MusicalFare Theatre, Western New York's most awarded and only professional musical theatre company, presents the 3rd production of its 2009-2010 subscription season, the world premiere of CROSSROAD BLUES. CROSSROAD BLUES features some of the greatest Blues music of the 20th century and tells the story of a father attempting to reconcile his relationship with his estranged son. Emotional and evocative, MusicalFare will be rocking with the sound of the Blues at its best!
The cast includes local blues singer Billy McEwen (1989 Buffalo Music Hall of Fame Inductee 1989), Sharon Bailey (Buffalo Music Award Top R&B vocalist 2000, 2001, 2002 and 2005), r&b singer and MusicalFare favorite Terrie George, George Brown and Don Allen Hunley.
Set Design is by Chris Schenk, Lighting & Sound Design is by Chris Cavanagh and Costume Design is by Loraine O’Donnell & Olivia Ebsary.
The performance schedule is January 6th – February 7th, Wednesdays at 7:00pm, Thursdays at 7:30pm, Fridays at 8:00pm, Saturdays at 4:00pm and 8:00pm and Sundays at 2:00pm. There will be a special “half-price preview” on Tuesday, January 5th at 7:00pm. Meet-the-cast talkbacks take place after all Wednesday performances EXCEPT opening night, January 6th.

MusicalFare Theatre is a professional musical theatre company in residence at, but independently operated from, Daemen College. MusicalFare Theatre is located at 4380 Main Street in Amherst, NY (between Harlem and Getzville Roads). Parking is FREE, and the theatre is handicapped accessible, complete with a hearing-impaired system.
