Yes you can exchange your Studio Arena season tickets for BEYOND THE RAINBOW. We are releasing selected tickets week by week. Right now there are tickets available for Studio Arena subscribers from April 22 - 26. This show is selling very well and I'm not sure how many tickets will be … more available in future weeks so I would encourage you to call today and exchange your tickets for next week.

I'm a Studio Arena subscriber. Can I exchange my tickets for Beyond the Rainbow? If so, for what performances?
2 JUDYS answers
Doug Weyand, Thursday, April 10th, 2008
Hello. I'm Doug Weyand, the director of the production. To answer Emily's questions: There ARE two actresses playing Judy Garland. The show is "set" during Judy's 1961 Carnegie Hall Concert. During the course of the Concert, each song sung by "Garland" (as she's referred to in the script) sets off … more a memory in her head and her entire life, from her childhood until the concert itself, plays out before the audience's eyes. In the memory sequences, we have the character of "Judy" (as she's referred to in the script). Three other actors (Todd Benzin, Marc Sacco & Kathy Weese) portray everyone else in the show. "Garland" (or "Concert Judy" as I'm prone to calling her) is portrayed by Loraine O'Donnell. Another actress was originally cast in the role, but had to leave the production for health issues...one week into the rehearsal process...which itself is only five weeks long! Loraine was kind enough to step in at the last moment (literally!) and take over the role. "Judy" (or "Younger Judy" as I'm prone to calling her) is being portrayed by Michele Marie Roberts. All cast bios are on the "meet the cast" page on this site. I hope that answers your questions, Emily. Anyone else have any? I'll be happy to answer.

Someone told me that there were two actresses playing Judy Garland in Beyond the Rainbow. How does that work? Who are they?
