From the 2009-2010 Season: In celebration of MusicalFare's 20th anniversary season, the return of one of the most acclaimed and cherished productions in our history.
FALSETTOS, written by William Finn (THE 25TH ANNUAL PUTNAM COUNTY SPELLING BEE), is the comic and moving 1992 Tony Award winning musical about Marvin, a man who leaves his wife and his young son, Jason, to live with another man. His ex-wife, Trina, marries Marvin’s psychiatrist and everyone must figure out how to reinvent their family and create a loving environment for Jason, who is approaching his Bar Mitzvah. Alternately comic and moving, irreverent and insightful, FALSETTOS is one of the most unique and memorable musicals written in the last quarter century.
The running time of the production is approximately 2 hours, 25 minutes including intermission.
Please note that some adult language and a strobe light are used in this production of FALSETTOS.
