An article about the 2010 event is below:

MusicalFare’s fourth annual holiday party fundraiser, UnSilent Night, was held at the Westwood Country Club on December 9, 2010 and was an unqualified success. It wasn’t just that we attracted over 200 guests on a brisk December night or that the evening earned money for MusicalFare, but that the energy was high all evening long and everyone involved had a holly jolly good time.
A ticket price of only $50, which included 2 free drinks, surely helped sell the event! Also included were hors d'oeurves and food stations along with evening-long entertainment.
As guests arrived at the Club – which was festively decorated in holiday greens and golds – they were serenaded by the Holly Berries, a trio of singers featuring Debbie Pappas, Michele Marie Roberts and Doreen Szczesniak, all smartly attired, who sang carols throughout the evening. Other actors circulated among the crowd selling raffle tickets. One large basket of donated wine and liquor were raffled off to a lucky winner, and a second guest drove home with extra money in her pocket from the 50/50 split.
For guests’ listening pleasure, MusicalFare performers Jenn Stafford, Marc Sacco, Lou Colaiacovo and Terrie George performed some of both their holiday favorites and standards.
Adding to the festivities were numerous local vendors who participated in a “Unique Boutique” selling samples of their fine wares and donating back to MusicalFare a portion of their proceeds. Thus, UnSilent Night attendees were not only wined, dined and entertained, but were also able to accomplish a little (or a lot!) of their holiday shopping.
A traditional carol sing-along (below) rounded out the evening, with MusicalFare’s Randy Kramer at the keyboard, and by 9:30 pm, guests were making their merry way out into the wintry world and the holidays to come.

UnSilent Night would not have been possible without the generous support of our sponsors. We thank them for their generous donations!
